Buyely Canada Return & Refund Policy

At Buyely Canada, your satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind the quality of every product sold on our platform. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help. This detailed policy outlines your rights, our obligations, and the simple process to return an item or request a refund.
1. Our 30-Day Return Guarantee
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return. No questions asked for most products — simply initiate the process, and we will guide you every step of the way. This guarantee applies to all products sold by Buyely Canada unless explicitly marked as “final sale” on the product page.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To receive a full refund, items must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received them
- In original packaging with all tags, accessories, manuals, and certificates
- Not damaged by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Free from any stains, odors, or signs of wear (applies to apparel and textiles)
If an item is returned in a non-resalable condition, we may issue a partial refund or deny the return. You will be notified via email if this occurs.
3. How to Start a Return
We’ve made the return process as simple as possible. Just follow these steps:
- Visit our Return Request Page (linked in your order confirmation email or accessible from our website footer).
- Enter your order number and email address.
- Select the reason for return (damaged, wrong item, changed mind, size issue, etc.).
- Submit the form. Within 1-2 hours, you will receive a prepaid Canada Post return shipping label via email.
- Print the label, pack your item securely, affix the label, and drop off at any Canada Post location.
- Once we receive and inspect the item (usually within 3-5 business days), we will process your refund.
4. Refund Processing & Timeline
Once your returned item is received at our warehouse, our quality assurance team will inspect it within 2-3 business days. After approval, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days to your original payment method. The total time from when you drop off the package to when the money appears in your account is typically 7-12 business days.
Refunds include:
- Full product price (including any taxes paid)
- Original shipping charges (only if the return is due to our error)
For change-of-mind returns, original shipping costs are non-refundable, and the $7.99 return label fee applies.
5. Exchanges
If you need a different size, color, or variant, we recommend you return the original item (following the process above) and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you get the correct product as quickly as possible. Once we receive your return, we will refund you for the original purchase. To make things even easier, we will waive the return label fee for exchange-related returns.
6. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, safety, or licensing reasons, the following categories are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Personal care products (e.g., toothbrushes, hair clippers, facial brushes, skincare devices with unsealed packaging)
- Intimate apparel (underwear, swimwear, shapewear, lingerie) – due to health regulations
- Opened software, digital downloads, or gift cards
- Clearance / final sale items (clearly marked on product page)
- Customized or personalized products (unless there is a manufacturing defect)
- Perishable goods (food, supplements, flowers)
If you receive a damaged or defective product from the above list, please contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery, and we will arrange a replacement or store credit.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
We take great care in packaging, but sometimes accidents happen. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong product, please:
- Do not throw away the original packaging.
- Take clear photos of the damage or defect (including the shipping box).
- Submit a return request with the reason “Damaged/Defective” and upload photos when prompted (or email them to returns@buyely.com within 48 hours).
We will immediately send you a free return label and, upon receipt, issue a full refund or send a replacement at no extra cost. In many cases, we may ship the replacement before you even return the defective item.
8. Refund Methods
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used during checkout. This includes credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Afterpay, and gift cards. If you paid with a gift card, the refund will be issued as a new gift card code sent to your email. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution; credit card refunds typically appear within 3-5 days, while PayPal and Afterpay may take up to 7 days.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after 10 business days from the date we confirmed approval, please:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
- Contact your credit card company or payment provider, as they may have processing delays.
- If you’ve done all of the above and still have not received your refund, reach out to us at refunds@buyely.com with your order number and return tracking number. We will investigate within 24 hours.
10. Cancellations
You can cancel an order for a full refund within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been processed for shipping. To cancel, email cancel@buyely.com with your order number. After 2 hours or once the order has been picked up by the courier, the standard return policy applies.
11. International Returns (Outside Canada)
Currently, Buyely Canada only sells and ships within Canada. We do not process returns from international addresses. If you are a Canadian customer temporarily abroad, please contact our support team for individual assistance.
12. Customer Support & Dispute Resolution
Our Canadian-based support team is available 24/7 via live chat, email, and WhatsApp. Most return issues are resolved within one business day. If you believe a return was unfairly denied, you may escalate the matter to escalations@buyely.com. We will review your case within 2 business days and provide a final resolution.
